Mr. B.C. THIRUVENGADAM who is popularly known as "thiru" is the architect and senior partner of thiru & thiru. He is a lawyer with 28 years standing at the Bar. He holds Bachelor's Degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Bangalore and has an Intermediate Degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also holds a Certificate in U.S. Patent Prosecution and a Patent Agent of the Government of India. He is a Registered Mediator of the High Court of Karnataka, having trained by ICDLS, San Francisco, U.S.A. He is a "Trainer of Trainers" and a Master Trainer in Mediation of the Supreme Court of India, and has successfully settled several mediations, both domestic and international.

He has successfully handled major corporate disputes in various forums in the country, including the Supreme Court and the Company Law Board, New Delhi & Chennai. Noted as a specialist in corporate oppression and mis-management and has handled matters relating to Reliance Industries, BPL Telecom, Manipal Group, and Prakash Group.

Since the mid eighties he has been closely associated with the Information Technology and Venture Capital businesses. He played a key role in structuring T.D.I.C.I., (now known as ICICI Ventures), India's first Venture Capital Fund. He has introduced several innovative legal modules in the areas of investment finance, mergers and acquisitions, information technology contracts, etc.

Mr. Thiruvengadam has presented several technical papers and has addressed various seminars and gatherings in India and in the U.S., including premier Institutions like the New York Law School and the Chicago Kent Law School of the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has presented various papers on different subjects in Indian and international seminars. He is an external faculty member of Chicago Kent Law School, teaching "Online Security".

MS. REVATHI THIRUVENGADAM holds Bachelor's Degrees in Arts and Education from Sathya Sai University and a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Bangalore. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from the Delhi University. Admitted to the Bar in 1992, Ms Revathi Thiruvengadam is also a Registered Indian Patent Agent and also a Trade Mark attorney. She also handles matters relating to Real Estate.

MR. ASHOK B PATIL holds Bachelor's Degrees in Science and Law. He enrolled as a member of the Karnataka State Bar in the year 1983. He has 27 years of practice of commercial and corporate litigation and non litigation.

MR. S. RAVINDRANATH holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and a Master's Degree in Law from the Osmania University, Hyderabad. Admitted to the Bar in the year 1972, he has established himself as a leading lawyer of Hyderabad and a specialist in employment, corporate and commercial law. Mr. Ravindranath is a Partner in charge of the Hyderabad branch.

MR. M. MUTHUKUMARAN holds a Law Degree from Madras University. He has been practicing at Chennai and is a specialist in Corporate and Banking Law. Mr. Muthukumaran is in charge of the Chennai Office.

Mr. ASHOK RAMKUMAR graduated in Law from Osmania Law School in the year 1989 and joined the Bar the same year. He had the Opportunity of working in top law offices in the country and practiced in the areas of Central Excise and Customs, FERA (now called FEMA), Corporate Law, Banking Law, Essential Commodities, Arbitration, Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology Law.

For the past decade, he has been practicing exclusively in the Area of Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology Law. He has presented papers and Articles on Techno legal issues like Digital Rights Management, Digital Escrow, Legality of Authentication procedures, Data Security, Creative Open Licence, and Information Security in Digital Arena etc. He is a Guest lecturer at various Universities, Colleges, Govt. Departments and Institutes. Areas of practice include various Registries of Trademark, Patents and Copyright, IPAB, District Courts, and High Court. He has extensive experience in IP Litigation before the Civil Courts and High Courts and has successfully dealt with cases of infringement, passing off, oppositions, rectifications etc., for various clients.

Mr. J SURESH is an Advocate having rich techno-legal experience in the domain of Intellectual Property Rights. He is a qualified Patent Attorney, specialized in drafting, filing and prosecution of Domestic and Overseas Patent Applications, in areas of Electrical,Chemical and Mechanical Engineering domains. He focuses primarily on technologies relating to computer networks, software, process control systems, electrical, electronics, telecommunications and mechanical arts.

He counsels clients extensively on intellectual property issues, particularly on framing of IPR policies and IPR Management. He also handles filing and prosecution of Trade Marks, Designs and Copyrights. Mr. Suresh also handles IP litigation. He also has an expertise in handling IP portfolios of US, European, Japanese, Korean and Chinese companies and has travelled extensively to these regions. He is a member of Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and actively participates in the meetings and deliberations of Licensing Executives Society (LES) in various countries.

Mr. Suresh regularly delivers lectures on IP Laws and Practice in various organizations and Universities in India and abroad including National Law School of India University, Japanese Patent Office (JPO), Japanese Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA), Graduate Research Institute of Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japanese Intellectual Property Association (JIPA). He holds Graduate Degrees in Physics, Chemistry and Law and Master Degrees in Law and Russian Literature.

ASSOCIATE PARTNERS AND CONSULTANTS L. C. RAGHURAM holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Mysore University and a Master's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the Sardar Patel University. Mr. Raghuram is a Graduate in Law from the G. G. University, Bilaspur. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Nagpur University. Mr. Raghuram is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers and the Indian Council of Arbitration. Formerly held the office of the General Manager and Chief Engineer - Civil, with Coal India Ltd, a Government of India undertaking. He heads the infrastructure and arbitration division of the firm.

MR. V. RAMESH passed out with a Master's Degree in Law from Chicago Kent Law of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago in the year 2001 and has specialized in Intellectual Property law. A law Graduate from the Madras University, he has developed good knowledge in general commercial practice too. Mr. Ramesh operates from Chennai.

Mr. V. A. MOHAN RANGAM holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Law degree from Mysore University and is an eminent senior lawyer of the Bangalore Bar with more than 50 years standing. Mr.Mohan Rangam has rich experience in Constitution, Trusts, Employment, Civil Litigation and Real Estates.

Mr. G. N. NANDAKUMAR holds Bachelor Degrees in Commerce and Law from the Karnatak University and has 32 years of standing in the Bar. He handles commercial litigation.

Mr. V. M. MADANGOPAL holds a Master's Degree in Economics and law degree from Bangalore University. With 20 years standing in the bar, he handles insurance and real estate.

Mr. T. V. JAGANNATHAN holds a Bachelor's Degree from Madras University is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Mr. Jagannathan has more than 15 years experience in industrial law and indirect taxation. Before associating himself with thiru & thiru had held the position of the General Manager of Asia Tobacco Limited and was the Executive Director of an Indo-Italian joint venture Fomas India Ltd.
